My Child is Riding A Bus. What is their bus number? Click Here!
This is the link to determine the bus routes, bus numbers, the location the bus will pick your child up and the drop-off and pick-up times. Teachers will be asking you about whether or not your child will be riding the bus at Meet the Teacher. For the safety of our students, we create a school-wide list of bus riders so it's very helpful for teacher's to have this information during Meet the Teacher.

The office is open daily to take registration documents for our families. Please note that we do not close for lunch so the office is open continuously to take care of your needs. Please feel free to call or stop by if you need us. Please remember that all registration information must be done before your child will be placed in a class.

Have you Completed your Registration for the 2018-19 School Year?
If you have documents to bring by the school, we need those to complete your registration process. This includes bringing your child's shot records, proof of residency, social security card and birth certificates to the school. If you moved, we need a new proof of address. We WILL NOT be able place your child in a class without these things completed.
We will be mailing class placement postcards very soon. Without completed registration, your child will NOT get a Postcard or be placed in a class in time for Meet the Teacher.
If you are not returning to Greens Prairie for the 2017-18 school year, have you communicated that with the office? Please let us know so that we can officially withdraw your child.

For returning students
For students that are returning, you must go online and complete the registration process. In the spring, you should have gotten an email and a hard copy of the parent letter to get your Snap Codes. It will take you less than 15 minutes to confirm your child’s information.
Have you moved?
You will still need to complete the online registration and we will need a copy of your new proof of residency (current utility bill, lease/purchase agreement)

Summer Birthdays
On Fridays, we celebrate birthdays that have occurred for that week. With summer approaching, we want to make sure to include our June and July birthdays throughout the month of May. This will be our schedule in including them in with our May birthdays. We will celebrate all August birthdays next school year.

Tuesday, May 1st is Hat Day
Students can wear hats to school on Tuesday, May 1st to support the Cancer Relay for Life Research Program. If your family would like to donate $1, those funds will be combined with the faculty donations for Relay for Life.

We invite future Kindergarteners and their parents to come tour Greens Prairie Elementary. We will have our current kindergarten teachers lead the tour to show your child our school and the kindergarten classrooms.
What to do:
Meet the kindergarten teachers in the front office at any of the four listed tour dates and times. No need to sign up or RSVP.
This would be a great time to drop off any of the registration documents needed to complete registration such as: birth certificates, shot records, proof of residency and social security cards.
